“My daughter has gone to lighthouse kids in Hixson since January 2023. We have seen a TREMENDOUS change in her. Her vocabulary has expanded so much. I can't brag on them enough. Yesterday they had a hairdresser come in and she got her first haircut. We expected it to be impossible and although the hairdresser was amazing, I can't help but think that the fact that she was surrounded by people she knew and trusted played a huge part in her allowing it to happen. “Lighthouse ABA therapy has completely helped changed my son’s life for the better. Prior to starting with lighthouse he didn’t even respond to his own name and nonverbal. At lighthouse his BCBa gave him the foundation and taught him the communication skills to learn PECS, which he was then able to start learning his AAC device. He HAD been going to speech therapy for a year prior to starting ABA and had NO progress. He has been in blended prek for a year and a half no progress. Progress began when he started lighthouse. The woman here are angels on earth and I whole heartedly trust them. It’s a wonderful place.”

“My son has been coming to LHK in Columbia for 4 months and there has been huge leaps in his development. Before LHK doing basic things like going to the grocery store or restaurants with my boy was out of the question, in fear of a public meltdown etc. But after going to LHK he waves and says hi to people in the stores, no meltdowns, no aggression. He still has his moments but he has had tremendous growth. Taking him here was the best decision we could have ever done, I just wished we had done it sooner.
If your child has Austism, believe me, this center is very good. Each day I see the other kids go to the school and they are excited. Zero tears but excitement.
Each day driving to LHK I ask my son if he is excited for school, my son is non-verbal yet each day, will answer my question with a yes!”

“An amazing team. They are so great with my 2 year old that he doesn't want to leave when it's time to go. They thrive on what's best for each individual child. So kind and loving group for kids with autism to be in. The facility is set up amazingly. Place for when kids need their space as well as rooms for group play if the kids want.”
